Engaging our stories of hurt and shame can be a catalyst into growth and freedom.

The therapeutic experience is a unique space that helps you heal painful wounds, interact with unhealthy patterns of relationships in an effort to create more fulfilling ones, improve communication, and open yourself to new and better experiences and relationships.

Counseling Orientation and Approach

I believe that each person’s life is shaped in the context of meaningful relationships. Therefore, it is of great importance to explore primary relationships in one’s life. The psychotherapeutic experience is designed to help you heal with painful wounds, interact with unhealthy patterns in an effort to create more fulfilling ones, improve communication, and open yourself to new and better experiences and relationships. Therapy is meant to be a safe, relational environment where you can take time to examine and reflect on places you are struggling and, together, we will discern the root causes of these struggles and the impact they are having on your life.

Who I work with:

I am drawn to working with individuals and couples around physical and emotional intimacy issues with both self and partners, unwanted sexual behaviors, and identity issues. As these can be such dynamic and interconnected struggles, there are other touch-points of anxiety, depression, shame, and family of origin issues that I work with. I work with men and women, ages 13 and above.
